The countdown to December is officially on, and while things might seem quiet on the live performance front for the next month, theBlueShamrocks are working harder than ever! We are in the rehearsal room, and let us tell you—the energy in the room is absolutely electric.
Our rehearsals have taken on a whole new dimension lately, and it’s all thanks to our brilliant piano player. Bringing a brand-new instrument into our mix of country, blues, and jazz roots has completely revitalised our set. Watching the keys lock into our signature toe-tapping rhythmic groove for the very first time gave all of us absolute goosebumps.
The piano is adding a magnificent, rich texture to our songs. It lifts the melodies, drives the jive beats with a fresh, punchy drive, and fills out our waltzes with a beautiful, warm depth. We are busy fine-tuning every transition, sharpening every hook, and making sure our limited time on stage this December hits like a lightning bolt.
We are practicing with a singular focus: to show up to the Battle of the Bands with a sound that is bigger, bolder, and more infectious than anything we've done before. We want to ensure that every single second we have on stage leaves you smiling and moving.
